This premium quality print is a reproduction of my original acrylic painting titled Prickly Perch. I love to ‘create a painting’, which to me means to come up with my own compositions. For example, I like to combine one or more of nature’s gifts with man-made gifts like a part of old farm equipment or buildings and even an old fence post. I was inspired to paint this cheery, healthy, bright yellow bird because of the contrast between the smoothness of its feathered body and the prickly rusted barbwire stapled on an old wood post.
